As net jargon like ‘AFK’ (far from keyboard) and ‘TL;DR’ (too Long; didn’t review) can baffle subscribers, phrases like ‘back into the drawing panel’ or ‘burn the midnight oil’ can confuse non-native English speakers who change the phrases practically. Getting especially aware of long-established words that may even be deemed offensive.
